Une petite fille nommée Mischa vit dans la banlieue de Moscou. Elle vient de fabriquer un magnifique violon en papier. Elle veut jouer pour les grands monstres qui habitent dans l'appartement. Mais plus ils refusent d'écouter son violon, plus le loup rôde dangereusement près d'elle.
