The leading program in 3D Animation
Taught entirely in English, the 3D Animation International Class trains you to direct animation films or series. You'll strengthen your skills in drawing, color, and software, and dive into creating storyboards, layouts, sets, characters, and producing 3D animation. A significant part of the program is focused on management and working methods. In your final year, you'll work as a team to produce a short animated film, which you'll present to a jury of professionals. This project allows you to apply the skills you've developed throughout your training.
1 program, 2 campuses
This program is divided into two parts
Years 1-3: Spend the initial three years in Montreal, Canada.
Years 4-5: Complete the final two years in Valenciennes, France.
Teaching is delivered mainly by professional animators who impart their expertise and knowledge to students. The program includes access to high-quality equipment such as a 4K amphitheater, a render farm, a photo studio, a sound studio, and a wide range of computers equipped with industry-standard software (Adobe Creative Suite, Maya, Houdini, Arnold, Redshift, Nuke, Unity, etc.).
Designed for international students, this course also welcomes French students eager to challenge themselves with an English-taught program.
After completing the first three years of this 5-year 3D Animation program, students will obtain the Quebec Diploma of College Studies (AEC) in 3D Animation/VFX. Upon completing the full five years, they will receive a master’s-level degree accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, recognized internationally.
